3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, connect authorized Instagram accounts, sync analytics, resolve reel duration, operate transcription and feature-generation workflows, compute baselines, generate insights, support and improve the Service, enforce security controls, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with users about the Service. We use Instagram and other authorized platform data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve Pressure and its features, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law and platform rules. We do not sell or rent your personal data or Instagram data.
4. Media Processing and Automated Features
Some Pressure features require temporary or downstream processing of media-related assets made available through the authorized integration. For example, Pressure may access media URLs or media files to determine reel duration, create transcripts, classify patterns, or derive structured features used in the product. Pressure may store resulting transcripts, derived features, analytics outputs, and related processing records as part of the Service. Some outputs are generated through automated processing or AI-assisted systems. These systems can produce mistakes or imperfect results. We use these systems to operate product features, not to make decisions about eligibility for housing, employment, lending, insurance, education, or other similarly regulated decisions.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: - Performance of a contract, including providing the Service you request - Legitimate interests, including securing, maintaining, improving, supporting, and operating the Service - Compliance with legal obligations - Your consent, where required by law
6. Data Sharing
Pressure does not sell personal data or Instagram data. We may disclose information to service providers that operate the product on our behalf, including vendors that provide hosting and infrastructure, databases, authentication, job orchestration, caching, storage, customer support tooling, and AI processing. Our service providers may include authentication providers, Meta and Instagram APIs for authorized platform access, database and infrastructure providers, caching and job-processing providers, and vendors used to power transcription or feature-generation workflows. We may also disclose information: - When required by law, legal process, or government request - To protect the rights, safety, integrity, and security of Pressure, our users, or third parties - In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements
7. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain records, resolve support issues, enforce our agreements, preserve dispute records, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or security requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Disconnecting Instagram stops future syncing, but it does not automatically delete data already stored in our systems. If you want stored data deleted, use an available in-product wipe flow or submit a deletion request as described below.
8. Data Deletion and Deauthorization
You may request deletion of your account data and associated stored information by emailing support@pressure-app.com or, if available, by using an in-product deletion or wipe flow. Signed-in users can currently remove synced Instagram data through the Settings memory controls. If you remove Pressure from Meta or Instagram permissions, that will typically stop future platform access, but it may not by itself delete data already stored in Pressure. If you want stored data removed, you should also submit a deletion request through the methods described on our data deletion page. If you contact us for deletion, please include enough information for us to identify and verify your account. We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or recordkeeping obligations.
9. Security
Pressure uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including token encryption, access controls, and authentication protections. No internet-based service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Information
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete that information as required by law. Pressure may process content from Instagram accounts or audiences that include individuals under 18 because Instagram itself permits teen accounts in some cases. That does not mean Pressure targets children. We process such information only to provide the Service requested by the user, such as analytics, reporting, transcription-enabled features, and related functionality. We do not use Instagram data to identify, contact, or intentionally target minors as a distinct advertising audience.

To exercise applicable privacy rights, contact support@pressure-app.com.
12. International Data Transfers
Pressure is based in the United States and may process or store information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Third-Party Platforms
Pressure integrates with third-party platforms, including Instagram and services made available by Meta. Their availability, data returned, privacy practices, and platform rules may change over time. Pressure is independent from Instagram and Meta and is not endorsed by or affiliated with them.
